Quilts of Valor is a collaborative effort between Quilts of Valor Foundation and eight other fabric companies. Eachcompany designed a patriotic collection suitable for usein making a Quilt of Valor to be awarded to a US servicemember touched by war.The mission of the QOV Foundation is to cover ALL those service- members and veterans touched by war with Wartime Quilts called Quilts of Valor (QOVs). This foundation is not about politics. It's about people.

Quilts of Valor started in November 2003 with the goal of making quilts that would both heal and comfort our war wounded.These quilts are called Quilts of Valor (QOVs). Wounds thatqualify are those that are both seen and unseen, "touched by war" is the best phrase for identifying recipients.
