Anna Maria Horner grew up in a home filled with her dad's paintings and her mom's handmade creations. Her grandmother from Greece sent hand-loomed wool blankets to warm their beds, while her Indiana grandmother's beautiful hand-knits kept Anna Maria and her siblings cozy. As a child in the 70s, Anna Maria preferred making Barbie dresses from her mom's fabric scraps over buying them from the store.
