Besties by Tula Pink is a tribute to our unconditional love for our beloved furry, or not so furry companions.This canine inspired print includes Boston Terriers, Greyhounds, Golden Retrievers Chihuahuas, Rottweilers and Poodles along with fire hydrants. Not every block will have a dog, but about 30% will. The colors include, Jade, Seaglass Green, Evergreen, Cobalt, Cornflower, Mellon and Coral on a light Aqua ground. From the Besties collection by Tula Pink for Free Spirit Fabrics, Pattern PWTP213 color BLUEBELL. Finished dimension for all blocks sewn together is 24 X 32 inches. Each block measures 8 1/2 inches square when sewn. Our Fast and Easy Blooming Blocks© are cut from 100 percent cotton fabric. Each block in the set will be uniquely different due to layering the fabric in exact repeats to create a kaleidoscope effect by precisely rotary cutting them.They are specially cut so that the centers will lie flatter and so there is no bias on the edges of the block so they lie flat in your quilt. Parisville was Tula Pink'sfirst collection for FreeSpirit Fabrics which was originally released in 2010. The collectability of her print fabrics have continued to rise over the years. The goal is to make some of the older, hard-to-get, prints more accessible to new makers while preserving the integrity of the original collection. The first installment of the “Deja vu” series is a favorite of Tula's. Parisville has a dreamy color palette of bright pastels and rich citrus colors. The design of Parisville was based on the story of Marie Antoinette, in all of its unnecessary decadence, as seen through the lens of what a young girl might think is “fancy”.
