"Nightshade is the newest installment in my annually released “Deja Vu” collection. The Deja Vu category is my way of giving people a new shot at an old collection that they might have missed. I create a brand-new color variation of the original artwork and re-release that variation for new fans and old ones. By issuing the collection in a new color it maintains the value of the original print run by creating a clear distinction between the new re-issue and the original printing. The new version brings with it 10+ years of my own growth and color explorations hopefully giving you something that is even better than the earlier versions! Nightshade was originally released in 2011-2012 as a Halloween collection to much confusion, due to the lack of pumpkins and candy corn, and it has become a cult favorite over the years. Since it was originally marketed as a holiday collection and had a targeted release window it has become one of the most difficult to find collections in my catalogue." Tula Pink.

Nightshade Spider Blossom from the Deja Vu Collection by Tula Pink for Free Spirit Fabrics. A scaled down and more subtle version of the original Spider Blossoms. Nightshade flowers and spiderwebs and mini skulls and crossbones complete the theme. Colors include Pink, Fuchsia, Lavender, Periwinkle, Purple Turquoise and Green, on a Black background. Each block measures 8 1/2 inches square when sewn. Our Fast and Easy Blooming Blocks© are cut from 100 percent cotton fabric. Each block in the set will be uniquely different due to layering the fabric in exact repeats to create a kaleidoscope effect by precisely rotary cutting them.They are specially cut so that the centers will lie flatter and so there is no bias on the edges of the block so they lie flat in your quilt.
